what is audio and video material localization?

It is the adapting of audio or video file to the needs of the specific region or market and the local characteristics.

project’s beginning:

the audio/video file should be prepared for submission;

the project’s provisions and targets should be clarified and notified to the project manager;

The content of this service directly depends on the project’s targets, therefore the client should be open for regular communication with the project manager.

project’s process:

analysis of audio/video file (the quality and contents of the submitted file is assessed);

identification and fixing of client’s wishes;

calculation of the approximate costs (costs depend on the degree of complexity and the performance deadline).

text transcribing – rewriting of texts heard and seen in audio/video file by fixing the respective second, in which this text is seen or heard;

audio/video translation (after transcribing of the text it is translated to the necessary language; translation is made by a professional translator;

correcting of the transcribed text and its adapting to the target audience (afterwards the work is given to the editor who corrects it and adapts it to the audience);

client’s confirmation (after performance of the above mentioned works the text is submitted to the client; after receipt of the client’s comments the text is changed, if necessary);

voice-recording of the text (voice-recording of the text is performed by professional actors or specialists who have large experience in this area);

file montage (after voice-recording of the text the localized file is assembled);

sending to the client.
